Purotu is the founder and
Managing Director of Cairns Quality Care. Prior to starting the organisation in June 2020, she spent many years growing a career in community services. Her exceptional leadership can be partly attributed to the level of experience she carries within the community sector having worked as a Facilitator, Support Mentor, Youth Worker, Scheduling Coordinator, Disability Support Worker, Case Manager, Project Officer, Disability Coordinator, Human Resources Manager and Aged Care Professional. Largely however, her drive can be directly linked to the foundation she has laid over her faith in God and her love for serving others whilst making a difference in the community. As a Polynesian Pasifika woman, it is important for her to encourage growth in her people as well as encourage multicultural diversity. We all have similar characters, just check out the vision, mission and values of CQC”.
